Personally the McRib is a sandwich. I do not try to confuse it with the taste of real ribs and take it for what it is. To me it is tasty which is nor more of a rib than a White Castle is a real hamburger. They are sorta messy but do taste good on occasion. I have not had one is some time but I will purchase again when the mood hits. Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN

We'll have an experiment. I have a nephew who might just tolerate a McRib in his stocking. I will take photos. At worst, I don't think he'll hate me forever.

If he's been good...you can leave it in the box. If not (like my Mother still does to me) make it an adventure to remember.

I've been trying to get lleechef to try a McRib, but I think she's holding out for a fried bolgona sandwich at G&R Tavern. Or, maybe it's a steak at the Pine Club in Dayton.

Pretty wrapping paper & a bow (no peaking or shaking). I'd buy her something nice too!

Lleechef........Hang tough!.a Fried Bologna......or even better...a pork roll sandwich.. beats a McRib hands down........even CC will possibly admit to that!

With no dessert menu and a dark and lovely venue like the Pine Club...McRib a la mode! I plead the fifth on pork roll vs. McRib. That's like picking my favorite child.

Last year, my date and I had the porterhouse for two. It was pretty spectacular.

They even have a sardines on rye platter. Steve ALWAYS mentions the stewed tomatoes.

I thought it is was just him thinking Italian people must love tomatoes every way possible. Something obviously happened when the tomatoes were served...last year.

I think I'll stick with the Lyonnaise potatoes this time. .. and perhaps the double New York Strip... ANYTHING but stewed tomatoes!

It's been years since I last was at the Pine Club. Truth to tell, I'd forgotten about the place. I do remember it being pretty darned good.

Michael, you will love the pine club. You will love the company, you will love the food, (avoid the creamed spinach) and you will especially love the warmup parking lot the next day at UDayton.

I am applying to to Father Ryan Cheerleading squad! That will make up for not being tall enough to be a Showtime at the Apollo dancer. Marone! Do the onion rings gets a blessing?
