What type of smoker did Al Roker (Rokers Smokers)use in 2003
Memphis In May? What is the name of the Mfg. who makes that smoker?

    Roker used a Willingham's smoker. It's a pellet-fed smoker that looks like a stainless steel Victorian doll house to me.

    It uses a vertical carousel with hooks for hanging the meats with the assumption the pull of the meat’s own weight will help tenderize the meat as it cooks.

    Does such a system ensure a tender product? To some, it's gospel. To others, it's a gimmick. Like everything else in BBQ, the smoker is just another tool and the end result depends largely on the skill of the cook.
