Mexican fruits

What's the name of those fresh fruits on sticks that Mexicans (and other Latins) sell? Usually like mango or papaya, cut to be shaped like a flower?
I saw a nice arrangement yesterday near Union Square in NYC. We don't have too many Mexicans in NYC yet (numbers are growing) but the fruits looked so pretty....
