I just had a delicious meal in Middletown, MD at the Mid-Town Diner, on Main Street. I live in Kensington, MD and my sister lives in Chambersburg, PA, so that is kind of a half way point for us. I had a fried country ham sandwich on a roll which was scrumptious, even the roll was grilled and had crispy bits around the edges. But the highlight was the potato salad. Unbelievablely creamy, mayo, mustard, celery and dill seed. I bought a quart to take home and we polished it off last night for dinner. My daughter had yummy homemade beef vegetable soup and my sister said her steak and cheese was fabulous as well. I wish we had been hungrier. I will go back soon and try their fried chicken, cole slaw and pies. Everything is homemade and they even sell things like ham broth for you to take home for soup.
One of those little hole in the wall places that knocks your socks off!!!
