MikeS's Wife Peggy Hospitalized-GetWell Card Here

Mike S, who does such a great job holding down the West Virginia end of the Roadfood Net, needs our support. His wife Peggy is in the hospital with a case of "complex" pneumonia that so far is not reacting well to treatment. We wish Mike, and Especially "Picky Peggy" (his term of endearment), our very best and hope to hear some good reports of improvement in her condition soon.
Please remember her in your communication with whatever, or whomever your guiding force may be. All brands of spiritual support are gladly accepted !

My heart goes out to her Mike. I've had a particularly hearty strain of pneumonia before after a bad case of the flu. No picnic in the park to be sure.
Lots of rest, even more love and soup, soup, soup! Oh yeah, whatever the doc say's might help too. The best from our home to yours!

They drained a lot of fluid from PP's chest this evening and she is feeling a bit better. They are running large doses of IV antibiotics into her along with strong pain meds.

I found out that Ava is sick with a 103 temp. She is spending the weekend with her mom but will be home shortly. May be taking her to the Dr tomorrow.

Hope everything is improving! I've gone through the pneumonia thing with my husband a couple of times. It's very scary...Our prayers are with you and your family.

My mom threatend to put me in the hospital when I had pneumonia in 11th grade.
Fortunately, it didn't come to that.
