I like any Roadfood thread where the Bronz Fonz gets his own category!

In Milwaukee for thick Deli's, I certainly like Jake's the best. Always very moist, tender and delicious. In a sorta bad part of town but outstanding. In a way the location and that taste of food although different reminds me of Doe's eat place in Greenville, MS. Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN

Great list and comments. Welcome to Roadfood hifimono. I certainly would add Maria's Pizza to your list. While all lists are subjective, there are those that feel Maria's may be a better pizza than Zaffiro's if you like a very thin crust. I'd add Mama Angie's Italian Deli to your sub list and Glorioso's makes a nice sub too. If you'd care to add Banh Mi's to your sub category, there several I'd also recommend. Again, welcome aboard.

Milwfoodlovers I can't hardly go to Milwaukee without going to Balisteri's for thin crust pizza. My favorite of the two locations is the one on North 68th. Have only been to Zaffiro's once and it was great also. Thanks for suggesting Maria's I will add it to my must try list
