Miss Vickie's Potato Chips

I just tried them for the first time at lunch today, and they were mighty good. I had the sea salt and malt vinegar flavor. Great with a sandwich. The package says they're distributed by Frito Lay, but also that they're "hand made style," whatever that means. Satisfyingly crunchy.

Didn't Miss Vickie TipToe Thru the Tulips one night with Tiny Tim on the Johnny Carson Show? Foggy Memories of a past generation brought to the forefront by Frito-Lay...[|)][|)][|)]

A few years ago, I flew with Tiny Tim out of Cincinatti to Minneapolis. It was about two years before his death.. I thought he was a rather sloppy person. I remember thinking that he must have hit hard times. After that I saw where he had some type of party, maybe another marriage and it was a rather elaborate afair with lotsa limo's. Appearances are sometimes deceiving. Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN

I'm sorry. Your humor is going way over my head. I wasn't born until 1971. Anyway, try the chips sometime.

Dan Don't fret about the age thing... I just learned that Hip-Hop music isn't the updated version of Jack LaLaine Exercise Tapes.

Herbert Khaury -- I saw Tiny Tim perform in the Village before he was famous.

Dearfolk, God Bless Tiny Tim! - I own all four of his albums - three on Reprise and one issued on Bouquet that was immediately withdrawn because of a lawsuit. Now if I could just turn up his first 45 on Blue Cat Records, plus five or six of the Reprise ones I am myssyng.... Herbert Buckingham Khaury did indeed get remarried not long before his death. He died in Minneapolis, which is a far cry from New York City. He and I are both bona-fide eccentrics, but he managed to carve out a career by being so. I'm still working on it...and trying to lose weight. Hmmm... maybe I need to go buy a ukulele. I could, after all, play it left-handed, like he did. Pawing Southward, Ort. Carlton in Warmer-Than-Usual Athens, Georgia. P. S. I doubt that there's a Miss Vickie connection - from Mrs. Tiny Tim to Tulip's Mama to potato chips... smacks of dubiousity.

I like the chips a lot as well. I always thought the B-B-Q version was particularly goo as it was not too fake or sugary tasting. But Dirty Chips have them beat...

I know this doesn't have anything to do with the chips, but Miss Vicky of Tiny Tim fame, lives in South Jersey. Her current boyfriend is a Rabbi who is in jail for life for having his wife killed. Such a scandal in the Philly area the past couple years!!!!!!

Well... since we are way off topic, I agree with Kristi S. I'd rather play like Paul than like Tim! I'm lucky, there's a great Beatle cover band that plays in Dallas every friday night. The base player has a left handed Hofner bass just like Paul. Now back to potato chips...

They're a Canadian product & have been around a while here. Since the 80's perhaps (just guessing). My favourite is the salt & vinegar, but the plain is pretty good too. Very crunchy. Their jalapeno is not bad too. If you tried to tiptoe through the Miss Vickie's, you'd make a lot of noise.

Hi kids, Just tried the new Miss Vickies flavor du jour - Black Pepper and Lime. It sounds kinda odd - but let me tell you - worth the price! Has anyone ever tried pepper on a fresh strawberry? DYN-O-MITE!
