Just what I was thinking!

Speaking of Wolfgang Puck...  I'm going to Spago next Sunday night.  I've looked over the menu and have absolutely no idea what to order!

About 20 years ago, I was at a meeting in San Fran.  One of our vendors took us to Wolfgang's place.  Great presentation.  Due to libation, I have no idea about the food.

Ooooh, Mar!  I just looked it up and you probably can't go wrong with any of it.
Me, I'd go for a couple of smaller plates and two desserts.

The BBQ looked good even if it had tiger beetle in it.

I almost said the bug looked like an emerald ash borer, but they dont have the spots, so CC is da winner,

Winner Winner Beetle Dinner.

Now that is what a key lime pie should look like.
Did you use Nellie & Joe's or Key West??

Here is your authentic Florida key lime pie. This one is from Casey Key Fish House on Casey Key near Nokomis, FL. I had a couple of pies in Key West that looked the same. I think a lot of places often die them green because the rind is green and it differentiates them from Lemon pie.

LMAO CC!

Cajun, this time I used Nellie & Joe's.  In the past I've used an organic brand whose name I don't remember, but it wasn't Key West.  Once, and only once, I squeezed all those tiny damn limes myself. " />

Davydd - I want to try that famous Key lime pie one of these days!

The Key Lime Pie  really works well with a nice meringue.

Very true!  And it would make good use of the egg whites left over from the key lime filling.  Maybe I'll try it next time.
