don't know if they're reporting it in the rest of the country that we have big time flooding down here. 22 inchs of rain in my yard since Sunday 5-17 PM

    SK - Did it rain by you?  We had nothng here.  I sent BlueMax the photos of the Speedway "under water".

                It's been pretty bad up here in Jacksonville but nothing like that. To mow my yard now would take a four wheel drive lawnmower so it will have to wait. I'm not complaining though because we needed a good soaking anyway.

                    Greg - MD has the same pictures I sent BlueMax.  Sorry - I should have sent you them too.  Remember that tunnel? 

                    The Speedway said there was really no damage per se.  They said it was a non event and that everyone should focus their concerns on the rest of the town that was hit very, very hard.  They are talking about $50 million dollars in damages.  Daytona was really hit bad.  So was Holly Hill. 

                    For years the Water Management Authority here has been bitching we use too much water and the aquifier is threatened....It's going to be interesting to hear what they have to say this year.

                    They say a lot of the water is run off and does not get into the aquifier.  They explain water that hits the parking lots is wasted. 

                    There is a huge water shortage problem in Tampa..A very real one.
