When I was a kid in Texas there was drink called Mr. Cola. It was the first 16 oz.bottled drink I can remember. Does anyone else remember that one at all?

Odd you'd mention that now. Somewhere else lately herein, I made mention of that on maybe a "local soft drinks" thread. There used to be a Mr. Cola bottling plant in Watkinsville, Georgia, ten miles south of Athens (where I am). It went out of business sometime circa 1960: a short-lived venture at best. As I remember, the drink wasn't particularly good...there just was more of it for the same price!
