LOL Foodb, and SHHHH! Some of them lurk around on here. Not sure how much better those turkey dogs are for you but for a cheep dog they do have a nice spice mixture I think. It might be an acquired taste though? Although.. I have never heard of anyone here at Roadfood, besides me, admit to even trying one. It's the only hot dog my picky cats will eat. But... they do not like spicy brown, dijon, or any type mustard on them! Hey, gota stay on topic here. :~) Joe

I prefer Dijon for most of my mustard needs except when it comes to a Chicago Dog!!! Definitely Yellow mustard for those. Brown mustard for a Sabrett"s in NYC as well as brats and other spicy sausages. I do like mustard on a burger once in a while but not usually. David O.

Don, I've found there is quite a bit of variation among different brands of honey mustard. I also have never thought of using honey mustard on a Kosher hot dog. What brand do you use?

Those white limbs are not willow so must be a wepping birch. I bet it's real pretty when it has leaves. Would be a nice spot to eat a hot dog w/ honey mustard. :~) Joe

PapaJoe8 So Davy, what are some good brands of honey mustard??? Joe Don got me really good. April 1st was already over, and I thought we were now safe. Considering that lots of people enjoy Sabrett Onions-in-Sauce on Kosher and Kosher-style hot dogs, I thought it was a honest suggestion. There are loads of those 'gourmet' condiments purveyors who sell honey mustard, because it is the trendy thing to do. The only two I like are both supermarket brands, French's and Hellman's. However, I only use them for Virginia ham sandwiches and similar uses. I tried a bottle of Emeril's and found that the BAM! in it overpowered the honey . I might cut off 1/3 of a hot dog to test honey mustard on, mostly for curiousity. I also think the popularity of honey mustard is waning. Less stores seem to carry it than when the manufacturers like French's were first introducing it. Addendum: From the French's website: http://www.frenchs.com/products/HoneyMustard.php "Try French's® Honey Mustard on sandwiches, hot dogs or hamburgers, or as a dip on pretzels or chicken nuggets."
