Let's see----5000 since 1/13/06----what you need is something to keep you busy---a job, or a hobby or something.  I don't know if there are any of either in Texas, but maybe a long walk every day would help.  Just don't get old and crotchity-------

Joe---those Where's Papa Joe posts are when he is in re-hab. He gets hooked on them there Cowboys and has to be wiened off of them slowly.

Capt, your nippin at my heels. If you were from NY or Cincy I would have annoyed you. Ketchup on a dog,or celery in chili, are words to be careful using some places. Celery is OK in Chicago Dog though... salt that is.

Pops I though far north Texas was Alaska, but Oklahoma might have snuck inbetween.

Speaking of the Mick---he had a restaurant on Central Park South right behind the Plaza.  My wife and I stopped there for lunch one Sunday without realizing
it was Old Timer's Day at the Stadium.  Mickey and Billy Martin, his old drinking buddy, Catfish Hunter and every one else you ever heard of were just finishing brunch and they were in no shape to play baseball-----my sandlot team could have beaten them-----but they were having a great time hooping and hollering.  

I never saw so many cowboy boots and hats since i went to the rodeo when i was a kid.  Catfish's were snake skins, I remember my wife commenting on that.  He held the door for her------ and I thanked him gratiously. 

Hate the Yankees, but these were terrific ballplayers.  Mickey looked great, Martin was a clown.
