My Cart PASSED Inspection!!!!!

Hey... sharing the joy!
Health Inspector came by today and gave my newly arrived cart the thumbs-up along with a brightly colored sticker!!! He said it looked great and that he thought it would do well. He even gave me a suggestion for a spot that did well a few years back for another vendor (who is no longer in business). How 'bout THAT!!!
I also met today with the Director of the Recreation Department, for my pre-Recreation Commission meeting (tomorrow night) to discuss the menu and all the city/state licensing, ServSafe, etc. He was very positive too... and told me to drop his name when speaking with the girls' softball league/field hockey league... and gave me the name and email address for their director!!! He said I shouldn't have any problem tomorrow night with the Recreation Commission for the permission I need to get!!!!
I'm psyched!! It's all starting to fall in line, even though we still have a few kinks to work out (like getting the cart registered with DMV... insurance...) but those should all be resolved by the end of the week. And we are not expected to start until the beginning of May.. so there's time to breathe!! Yay!!

Its always a great day when the health department leaves happy! Congrats!
I do lots of rec department ball games and love it. They have already started here in South Carolina.

Great news when everything flows the way it should! Just try to keep us up to date with the good and the bad during your ventures.. (ALOT of people show up here asking questions, then disappear)...
