^Unfortunately, most of my Chinese food consumption comes from the carryout place around the corner from my apartment or the one around the corner from my fiancee's apartment, so it doesn't tend to crop up too much on the road. There's a nice local dine-in Chinese place the local civic club I belong to tends to gravitate at least one meeting a year, however; if we go there this year, I'll take the camera with me. ^^Are you kidding? Knoebel's is one of my favorite parks of all time! I was thinking about going back through my 2008 photos(most of which were taken for that amusement park site I mentioned in the captions) and doing a retro trip report if I can squeeze it in between my move into the fiancee's place this month and our upcoming trip to Florida (we got the Disney Dining Plan, so no roadfood there, unfortunately). If I do, I'll definitely include Knoebel's (there's no admission, so it counts, right?). Man, I can almost taste the Cesari's pizza now!

Wonderful pictures and descriptions - thanks for posting!! Your stepdaughter-to-be looks remarkably like my little sister when she was young, and so happy to enjoy that good food.

Although I don't agree with all of your choices, specifically in Southern California, you presented a great report. It's a shame you couldn't make it to Daddy D'z in Atlanta. I was there back in 2008 and thoroughly enjoyed with my meal.

Great posts! Noticed your comment about the license plate (even if you used to live there.) If you have any info on places in DE, I would love to see your views. My son is at UD, and we have driven around there, but still learning. We live in PA. Thanks!

^Actually, I just moved to Delaware last weekend! I don't get to northern Delaware, where UD is, that much. I've been to the Kirby-Holloway Restaurant in Dover some years ago, but that was long before I started appreciating road food, so I don't think I can give it a fair report (if you go, try the scrapple--it's their signature dish). A few of the restaurants I mentioned in this TR were in southern Delaware, near where I live now, including Holiday Chicken, Cactus Cafe and Hopkins Family Creamery. Not sure that does you any good unless your son is looking to take a roadtrip, but if you're ever in the area, be sure to check them out!
