My Soup of the week...Italian Spaghetti

Yep, easy as can be and damn good. Either make your own Italian tomato sauce as I do, or buy a good couple of jars of your favorite. The difference is you add beef broth and additional tomato sauce to thin it out, add the cooked spaghetti at the end of the simmering process adjusting your seasonings as needed, add dime sized meatballs or ground beef, or nothing, except finish it with some good shaved Parma or whatever Italian cheese you like. Obviously you need garlic bread. A meal unto itself!

That's a great soup...been doing that for ages with left over sauce...also like to add slices of Italian sausage,,,great with Italian bread and a glass of read!!!!!If not spaghetti, a small soup sized pasta works well, also.

instead of beef broth use chicken broth with a small macaroni and cannolli beans and you have pasta fagioli

I did think Lee's Italian sausage suggestion was a good idea. Chewer, this was one of your few soup recipes that did not include Italian sausage. Although... meat balls sound good also. Joe
