ScreamingChicken-
Of all that food, you are commenting about the beer and cheese combination?  If you aren't careful, people might think you are from Wisconsin!

hatteras04-
The smoked baked neckbones at Bailey and Cato were wonderful.  Poverty Pete was the brave one who ordered those, while I went with the less exotic red meatloaf.  Luckily, PP was happy to share, as my girlfriend especially went crazy over the neckbones.  I believe they are a Tuesday only special.  What did you think of vegetables?  In general, we were disappointed in them.

Sundancer-
Paul, I made it to 32 states in 2013.

EdSails-
It had been at least a decade since my previous visit to Sambo's and it was even better than remembered.  Meeting about a dozen family members who live nearby only made the experience better.  I am with you on Foley Coffee Shop.  The biscuits and red gravy was the best thing we ate there.  And they aren't particularly friendly to strangers.

carolinabob-
Always glad to hear from you Bob!  You are right, the previous experience at Arthur Bryant's was not good.  Here we were four years later and Kozel reported that he had a great meal there.  So, I gave them a shot.  It was much better this time, but still not in the league of LC's.

Foodbme-
Congratulations on losing the weight!

rumaki-
Isn't Crisfield's wonderful?  One the expensive side, but it is near Washington, DC, so what do you expect.  It is one of those places that I would have to eat there for a week straight to try everything I want.

mhill95-
Love, love, love Tadich Grill.  Another one of those places I wish I could order everything.  They are probably in my all-time Roadfood top 10.

FriedClamFanatic-
That is an excellent idea, but I just don't have time.  The places that would rate a 10 do far outweigh the duds.

There are about a dozen or so foods that didn't get posted because the photos were poor.  Those included an egg cream, deep dish pizza and maple cream pie.

Buffetbuster, your regional food post is just wow. If you made a coffee table book of food pictures I would buy it.

Most of the food pictured I don't eat due to dietary restrictions, so seeing pictures of it is the closest I will get to experiencing the items.

And how many more were consumed prior to photographing!

BB - Your year end report so far has been AWESOME! You many of my favorites and many places I would love to visit.

CTD - We ALL know you are a BAD influence when it comes to taking a trip with.  Although I think I could have given you a run for your money in November in and around Nashville.

Amazing photos, as always! I have one question - have you ever been presented with something that you just wouldn't eat???

There are so many Greek hot dog places in New Castle Pa.  I thought that I've been to the best, but I'll make a trip to Bill's soon!

BurghFeeder-
Of the four hotdog restaurants I tried in New Castle, Bill's Sandwich Shop was my favorite, with Jimmy's a close second.  P.O. Lunch was also enjoyable, but my experience at M & P Coney Island was awful.  Are there any others I should know about?

Some of my favorite tip jars from 2013:

From Hillybilly Hot Dogs in Lesage, WV.  If you tip them, they sing the weenie song.  Trust me, this is something you definitely want to do!

Many Roadfood restaurants use animal images.  Here are some of the better ones from 2013:

Is anyone surprised that this is the mailbox for Stroud's?

First time I have ever seen a pig door knob at a BBQ restaurant!

Pie Diva and I "dined" at Hillbilly Hotdogs yesterday. After the customer before us had the tip-induced Weenie Song sung to him, we threatened not to tip. We were told the consequences were even worse than the Weenie Song

JRPfeff-
HA!  Thanks for that!  Did you go to the one in Huntington or the one in Lesage?

Here is the young lady who took our order ringing the bell and singing.

I was about the fifth person in line, so I had already heard the weenie song several times. I still wanted to tip, but didn't necessarily want to hear it again.  So, I slipped the tip in when I thought she wasn't looking.  She proceeded to complete my order and told me to take a seat.  Just as I took a step away from the counter, she said, "Oh, one more thing.  I saw you put money in the tip jar!"  And went right into the song.  Kitschy, but very fun!

Good!  It is worth the extra drive to eat at the Lesage location.  And that seems to be the only sign I have from B's Barbecue.  If you have something else, please post it.

In Buck's Diner, Fairhope AL. By now I guess I should look like Brad Pitt!

Marra's Italian Pastry, (North Beach/Little Italy) San Francisco. I didn't bring a gun, but they had great cannoli!

Gotta love this menu box at the Kickin' Crab in Westminster, CA

Think of the size of the scoop of ice cream and the amount of whip cream he got on it!  Doesn't seem right that you only get one cherry!
