My beloved Milky Way bars are now made in Canada

There is a white spot on the wrapper where the lot number goes, and recently in that same area it says "Made in Canada". Forcing USA companies to pay too much for sugar will not work long term. As a former farmer who was forced off the land by better/cheaper competition, I, more than most, know how USA sugar farmers feel. I have moved on. They should too. It is time to get rid of the sugar duties.

Yet, the "Canadian Bacon" that I bought yesterday was made in the US. Go figure!

Life Savers moved from Holland MI to Canada a few years ago.. Same reason as tmiles stated, due to the sugar prices in the US.

I've been seeing various Canadian-made salty snacks in the stores for a few years now and never knew why, but this certainly seems like it could be at least 1 reason. Brad O.
