Here is my perfect NC bbq plate... I give a few backups just so we can recognize both sides of I-85: Pulled / chopped pork: Lexington BBQ; runner-up, Bridges BBQ Lodge Sauce: Allen and Son; runner-up, Parker's Slaw: Lexington BBQ; runner-up, Short Sugar's Hushpuppies: Stamey's; runner-up, BBQ Inn (Asheville) Stew / Q Soup: BBQ Center; runner-up, ??? Sweet Tea: Beacon Drive In (sorry, had to go to a SC non-BBQ place); runner-up: Parker's

Hazelmn likes eastern NC style q. pulledpork likes western NC (Lexingrton) style. I like them both, but prefer the Lexington style.
