I think it's a new site, hence the reason that there isn't much there.

WD we saw that site, I don't see any thing there, except asking for money, and listing Fl as a cart friendly state, two things which were a red flag to me.  What I want to do is set up a site that is free as long as possable, for the free exchange of Ideas on the course of action we can take to get our rightfull place in a free society.

UUmmm  sorry.  Being that the next 100% Free live class is Jan 15, 2010 and today is Apr 22, 2010 I'd say this site is probably already abandoned. I'll keep an eye on it though.    DD

So, go to the site and look at how much you can make off a cart and how easy it is.
Then put up your hand if you think this is true.
Not to say it isn't possible but I don't believe it.

I have studied both the sites nahdv and John Sagls site, there is a lot of good info there. I am very much in favor of any site that promotes our industry.  But there is a difference between both those sites and IFCOA.  While the other sites help those seeking info on hot dogs, and hot dog selling and prepairing, toppings etc. (info that is readily available here) they don,t aproach one particular problem area, the politics of carting.  IFCOA is intended to  become the political action arm of the food cart industry so we are apples and oranges compaired to those sites.  I am not a hot dog expert, quite the oposite, what I am is a political activist who has been in the vending business for many many years, and have put up with secound class religation compaired to the B&M, and the hotel industry, that intire time who has been looked upon in the same light as , cab drivers and used car salesmen  not that their plight is any different, I have been both.

What I want is fairness, and common sence in the regulation of our industry.  every day carts and trailers are beeing shut down because, well because they just don't want them there.  The government looks at us as secound class because they take the view we are secound class tax payers and just a nusence in many areas.  one lonely letter or phone call to a senator or HD manager has little if any effect, in fact they may have a good laugh over it but 1000 0r 2000 calls or letters will change a lot of minds.  This is the intend of IFCOA.  I or you have little or no power against unfair and confusing regulation but "we" do.

The site was dormant for 2 years. It is currently being updated.. Taking longer than anyone thought. It won't be a totally free site, but will have some free areas. It is a membership site that is working to help people be successful in the biz.
