I hope this hasn't been asked before, I searched but couldn't find it. I'll be in NC next year, but my son won't tolerate a long side trip just for BBQ! What do the experts out here think the best que is within about 15 minutes of 95? Thanks everyone!

Southbound on I-95. Exit 173, Ralph's BBQ. Eastern Style (Vinegar Based) The barbecue is moist but not dripping in sauce, and can be ordered sliced or chopped. It's been served since 1941, and is meant to be eaten bite-for-bite with sweet cole slaw. The designation "sweet" means the slaw is made with finely diced cabbage, sugar, mustard, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar and salt -- no grated carrot or other veg to sully it. 21 Miles off of I-95 in Goldsboro is Wilber's BBQ. It's on Highway 70 in Goldsboro, just past the merge with 70 Business, more or less across from the southern edge of Seymour Johnson AFB if you're heading east, obviously just before the merge if you're heading west. Their phone number is 919-778-5218.
