Really? That's great news. That means we can all have seconds -- at least.

Five chili parlors, two ice cream joints, plus samples at Jungle Jim's, and you're worried about "seconds"?!?  I'll be happy if I make it through the day without breaking into a chili sweat.

BTW, Dale, don't worry about picking up the full tab.  I'll chip in for the napkins.

Well it certainly sounds better than "all meat gravy is on Dale!"

Thankfully there will be a portable ATM from my Bank, The First National Chi Town Bank of Westmont right inside buffetbuster's car. I understand it's not dependent on an electrical power source so it doesnt' need to be plugged in, it feeds on Five Way Chili, Goetta, Ice Cream, etc and with blue prints that prescribe sto a certain color coded list.
**on an aside- tomorrow begins the journey that leads to cincinnati***
-Flying to Richmond VA tomorrow and returning on Monday night
-Back to work for two days then Amtrak to DC with Sandra on thursday (side trip to Annapolis) and return the following monday
-back to work for one day then flying out to Pittsburgh tuesday evening to begin the journey to Cincinnati
I will be back tracking to Cleveland (Indians game) and the Newark OH area (cousin Mona)  prior to returning to Pittsburgh to drive with Buffetbuster to Cincinnati
Post Cincinnati I will be driving to Buffalo to catch a minor league game before flying home on the 15th

Hey WJ, where can I get one of those portable ATMs from the Chi Town Bank? It'll fit perfectly on the console in my Tucson. Oh, and if your machine runs out you can use mine.

Bad News - Sorry...but that is proprietary!
Good News - WJ is covering seconds from all stops including to go orders....bring your pails and buckets!

There is a $10 admission to the American Sign Museum, for the guided tour.  I will need a head count soon so I can let them know how many will attending.

If Dale is picking up the tab for the chili(e) then The Precinct used to make a wonderful Porterhouse with a chipotle chile sauce that was to die for, and then when you saw the price you did want to die. ($119.00 which included salad and 2 side dishes)

Is The Precinct one of the stops? I haven't been there in a long time. They used to have a great dry-aged prime strip steak with a Bernaise sauce that was wonderful. And with WJ picking up the tab ...

WJ-
After hearing you would rather go to the baseball game than enjoy your 15th-19th food stop of the day, I feel like I don't even know you anymore!

But the last time YOU asked me to bring it. Remember? The last time you told me that you had to hit 60 restaurants in a day and there would be no time for bathroom breaks

Cajun - it looks like we have had 742 requests (by my math) for sign museum tickets while capacity is listed officially as 741!  How will you determine who stays out?
