CJ I like this idea.

Well the quote didn't work. I'm referring to the 360 restaurant.

I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate what you're doing WJ. I mean, to think that you're willing to stop in my home town, where my friends and relatives stand watch over the people who go near chain pizza places, and pick up a pie just for me is just a wonderful thing. God bless you.

I just have to share this with you.....when I was a kid I would spend about 2 weeks at my grandparent's house.  My Italian grandfather would get up around 5AM and put his percolator coffee on the stove.  I think he boiled that stuff for about an hour.  Us grandkids would come down and would have breakfast:  gorgonzola cheese, Gramp's homemade bread and a cup of coffee with cream.  We would dunk his bread in that terrible coffee, take  a bite, then a bite of Gorgonzola.  Best breakfast!

Cincy is on our calendar for 2014 and it is doable.  We were looking forward to Savannah but interest appears to be waning.    A super big disappointment and a huge break in the Glee Club but what is, is what is.

Cincy would be great and about the same drive as Savannah although the diversity of food is not as exciting although I have never had some of the variations of goetta or what ever the Cincy version is and that would be very nice.  I have had their Skyline chili way too many times but Cincy has to have a nice variation.
I will keep the group up to speed.

Roz is in the middle of her comp exams and will be in the middle of her dissertation.  I hve no idea how much time that will take??

This is a confirmed trip for me now; on the official Roadhouse calendar.  Still not sure if the wifey is coming, but, barring financial ruin, you can count on me for sure.

I posted earlier that I am working on getting to this one. Apparently I didn't speak LOUD ENOUGH.
Funny story-Bob was able to get to Skyline yesterday, had the 3 way. Reported to me and said "you know, its not really chili". I laughed heartily and just said "Really, Bob?" That man needs an education, seriously.

I was going to say, "It'll be an All-Star weekend," but based on this thread, it'll be more like an "All-Jerk weekend".

Buddy

I missed that thread but then I've never been to Strouds and being a native Hoosier I've never been all that gaga over fried chicken ever since my dad chastised me for using a knife and fork on fried chicken at a newspaper boy honor dinner in Indianapolis when I was 14 years old.
