Is Cafe Atchafalaya in New Orleans still as vegetarian-friendly as the Sterns described it in the past? I looked at their menus but couldn't figure it out based on that.

Doesnt look real vegetarian to me, although they have wonderful looking salads that are vegetarian friendly.

I believe they have changed ownership since the Sterns last visit.

If you go do not skip the gumbo. In a city filled with lots of good versions Cafe A really stands out. They also make the finest cornbread I've tried in NOLA and they serve it with butter that had a working relationship with a cow. Not the weird yellow salve that alot of places use.
