I was curious, if anyone has had a NU WAY Weiner? They are a Macon, Ga. institution, much like Atlanta's Varsity. Thanks!

I didn't realize Nu Way was such a big deal. I'll be in Macon in a couple of weeks. Can't wait to have one. From what I know, Fincher's is good bbq and open Sunday. Other bbq places are Fresh Air, Lee and Eddie's, Satterfield's, and Tucker's, although I don't know which is best. Curious to know. As far as southern food goes, Len Berg's (only open until 12:30) has a legendary reputation and H&H cooked for the Allman Brothers.

Don't base your opinion of Nu-Way on that review. He went to the new branch at the strip mall off of 75. The Cotton Ave one is still just as good as ever. There and Fincher's are the two places I go every time I am in Macon. Fincher's cheeseburger is almost as good as the BBQ, (not a work of art, but dam good road food.)
