According to the article them durn Yankees seem to be catching on.
There is something about BBQ in the south, but it's nice to have a list of NY "Que Joints"

I believe it. Possible to cross borders and bring the flavors and techniques to the city. If a person is born and raised knowing how to cook it and takes that knowledge to NYC, then it can happen. Not sure if it will be the best, but close maybe, IMHO.
