I have friend coming for Germany to visit me in NYC (Columbus Circle area). I want ti take them to some places for typical "American" food, NYC food, and especially something that they can't get in Germany (like they already have great bread, sausages/"dogs", cold cuts,"salats", Italian food, French food, etc.). Ideas??

We found that they are fasinated with barbeque. They are not used to eating with their fingers or hands and find it amazing that Americans do.

We have entertained many people from Germany and the one place that they all love is a diner! There is nothing like a diner in Germany and they all enjoy them very much.
