 Nabisco Cheese Tid-bits???

Nabisco Cheese Tid-bits??? Wed, 09/24/08 1:07 AM (permalink)
Does any one remember my favorite cracker growing up in the 50's...Nabisco Cheese tidbits...they were a cheese cracker,but looked more like the shape of a good&plenty...when did Nabisco stop making them???

    Oh yes, I remember. I also remember how a lot of the time they would break in half horizontally, sort of like half open logs and reveal their hidden textured interior......Didn't they come in those boxes like animal crackers with the holder made from string?

      Oh wow...I had forgotten that....but yes...I remember thatnwell...and holding those little logs between your teeth vertically was fun too...then crushing down on them!!!!

        They were the best and my favorite too. I don't know when they stopped making them but with the way industrial recipes have changed they probably wouldn't taste the same now anyway. (Sour grapes.)

          Apparently they stopped making them in 2002.What a shame.Great snack!!

            We still have them here in Canada. I work for Nabisco and they were always named "Cheese Bits" here. Find someone in Canada to get them for you :)
