All I do is get Dorito or other tortilla chips, and a can of refried beans. I take and spread the beans on the tortilla chips. Some times I add some canned chili, no beans on top. Then i sprinkle them with cheese, add a few sliced jalepeno pepper slices, and nuke in the microwave till the cheese starts melting, and remove and eat. You can put on it cooked ground beef, seaseoned with taco seasoning and
add cheese and sour cream and guacamole to them too, after they have been heated up.

Let's put it this way; I can even make nachos, and I'm not much of a cook...
I use monterey cheese and sour cream, and often don't even go beyond that.
(told you I'm not much of a cook) Still tastes better than a lot of places I've ordered nachos from.

So you can get as creative as you want to be, and you don't even need a "recipe", just do your own thing.

If you absolutely MUST have a recipe, google one..
      or go to www.recipelink.com.

      good luck!

Dont have a recipe but if ever in Gainesville Fl stop at Ashleys Pub, they have the best nachos. I like the chicken nachos the best.

Doritos for nachos? holly that is awesome, must try!

I always use cut up jalepenos (I grow my own)
I always use monteray jack (I do not make my own)
Instead of refried beans I use some left over chili that I have made
and I use salsa, hot, very hot (I make my own when I am not lazy)

Thanks, you can take corn tortillas and cut them into wedge shapes
and fry them, and after draining them, put your toppings on,but that's too fussy for me.I just use Doritos or some other brand, and it is much faster.
