Not even close? Is it McClard's Bar-B-Q in Hot Springs, AR or Doe's Eat Place in Little Rock, AR? Am I in the general vicinity? Trying to find a pie place that the two of you love is very hard

No, but you are much closer than ETR, geographically.

The Travelin Man By the way, thanks to Chris and Amy (or anyone else who had a hand in the decision) for naming this the "Thread of the Week" in the weekly Roadfood.com newsletter. I started this thread a couple of months ago as a complete goof - and figured that people would get pretty bored with the idea quickly. Thanks to Chris & Amy I just found this thread today! Oh maaaaannn, can't believe I hadn't seen it before!!! Excellent stuff TTM. Now I have to browse my photos for something good & tough to identify.

It sure is! Did you know to look in New England because of the Grapenut flavor? Or in NH because of the Maple Walnut?

Wow. I had totally forgotten that I posted a picture of the Texan Cafe. I had to go back and find it again, because I knew that I had only made it in there for the first time this fall - and I hadn't used any pictures from this fall. Of course, I should have known that I would have posted a CLOSED sign somewhere in this thread! My apologies.

Great job ETR! Did you recognize those as stuffies? I am beginning to think that maybe the state limitations I am placing on myself is making it too easy.

...well actually just stuffed clams but then as stuffies. I'd don't have the list down as to which states you've already done like Dawn does...I haven't gotten that sophisticated yet

Dang! I wasn't too sure on that one...you didn't post any pictures of it or do a Trip Report...least I don't think...and you haven't been there in a long long time if I'm not mistaken...something like 10 years, no?

Actually, Mariton, Travelin Man and myself were just there this Summer. If I wrote a trip report for every trip I took, I would never have time to do anything else, since I am slow at writing.
