EatingTheRoad If I'm not mistaken that would be a plate full o' whole-belly clams, onion rings, and French fries, some hush puppies, more clams and a bunch a sauce from Woodman's in Essex, MA: http://www.roadfood.com/Restaurant/Reviews/408/woodmans-of-essex We have a winner! To further identify the Woodman's fare photographed above, it is (from the top left clockwise): fried scallops, clam cakes, fried clams, fried lobster and onion rings.

Speaking of the Woodman's Clam Shack items, That looks like a typical "SNACK" order for me when we lived close enough to Essex to stop by there now and then !! I would probably skip the Lobster and FF orders and stick to the Basics of Whole-Belly Clams, Scallops and Onion Rings! OK, Maybe a Clamcake or two with that order!!

EatingTheRoad I pretty sure that's Congdon's Doughnut Shop...but is that a Roadfood reviewed spot? Winner, winner, chicken dinner! And while not formally reviewed on this site, Congdon's has been referenced (and rightfully hailed) numerous times here.

EatingTheRoad Would that be Neil's Donuts in Yalesville, CT? (Looks delicious) http://www.roadfood.com/R.../neils-donut-bake-shop NO, but I did hit Neil's on the same trip...so you get partial credit. Greymo The Donut Pub on NYC? Think further north.

EatingTheRoad The Donut Dip in Longmeadow, MA? http://roadfood.com/Resta...Reviews/5359/donut-dip Looks like it to me. Ding! Now let me ask you, are you guessing these places because you know them or because of the great intellectual equalizer...the google? I know "Neil's" your first guess was buried in the picture url and I wasn't sure if you saw that. Their donuts do look a lot alike...classic new england stuff...and both grrrrrreat! Just wondering

In this particular case I searched for you name and donuts then went through the reviews here of donut shops in New England and narrowed it down. Got another?

I have a dream that my four little children will one day post on a food-related web site where they will not be judged by their web surfing prowess but by their real world interaction.

AHI MPLS is correct. That delicious tomato pie was consumed on a trip north this past August. It was not included in a trip report or any other photos previously posted. The link did not include any clues, nor did the landing page on my flickr account - with the exception of the date taken. I suppose that there are a handful of Roadfooders that might have been able to place me in Trenton on that specific date in August, but if that's how anyone could have found out, I'd be impressed! Instead, my gut says that one of the true "sleuths" of this game actually won this round. I'll see if I have anything else to use - but, I am back at worked and buried under a mountain of paperwork.
