Name that Roadfood Restaurant!!

I guess 'dairy farm in New England' only narrows it down to about a dozen locations. Sorry about that.

It was neither Peaceful Meadow Farm, nor Gifford's. In fact, it's not in the same state as either of those or Hart's Turkey Farm.

This was Lori's order, partly because that flavor was on the list in the Roadfood review. (This size was called a 'small'. We had to get a cup for it because it seemed certain to slide off the cone before we could eat it down to a manageable size.)

  My Goodness, there is a LOT of ice cream in New England!   
      My final guess is Rich Farm in Oxford CT.

It is not Shaw's Ridge Farm in Sanford, Maine, nor is it in the same state. (Just to be complete, it is not Shaw Farm in Dracut, Massachusetts, either.)

I'm out of small hints, so I'll provide a bigger one. This picture is quite similar to one of the pictures associated with the Roadfod review. (On the large version of this picture, I can make out the name on the sign if I zoom in. On this size, I can't make out the name, no matter how much I zoom in, so I haven't bothered to add any blurring. If you can make out the name, I think it's fair to use that information.)

Well, you are so good, I need to throw a real challenger your way every once in a while.  Would you have known to look for potato pancakes, just from the apple sauce/sour cream photo?  I'm sure you would have.  But, I threw the extra pic in just for fun.

Of course, as always, you are 100% correct.  It is Mo's Midtown in Hartford.  Since Chris didn't mention it in his recent Roadfood Digest post (I went there before Chris picked me up Saturday morning), I thought that might throw you off.

   The building is so cute, looks like they could add  "And Wedding Chapel" to their sign...
