Whew! I almost always start looking at places anti-alphabetically (because I'm a freak); BUT this time I started with the A's and Lo and behold, Attman's in Balmer! I've never been, but I strongly suspect that The Baltimore area would be my favorite food town. I once saw (The days and nights of) Molly Dodd smashing crabs while wearing a white sundress and I SWORE that nothing ,nothing would keep me away....Oh dear, that was 25+ years ago! I'd better get moving!

Ahhh-ha!!! I have "strike one" against the girl. I do think that this is one of the tougher photos for someone looking for clues. As such, the one hint that I will give you is that you were more on the right track with your first thought than your second.

Dagnabbit!! Is it the Elegant farmer's pie (sans paper bag) ? I nixed it early on 'cause I couldn't find a picture ...assumed they used plates and silverware.  Thank goodness for the "pie porn" thread!

Winner, winner! Even though I know what I took a picture of, it was hard to tell from that photo what was in that paper boat. And let me tell you - as much as I LOVE apple pie, I got precious little of this piece. It was devoured.
