I had a friend in town from England who had never had a hot dog! When I found this out I thought that a trip to Nathan's was in order. Its not that there are not other dogs available closer to my Manhattan home but I thought if you have never eaten one, could there be a more appropriate introduction to the hot dog? I didn't think so. The hot dogs were superb but at over $3 each they are not cheap. Pics:

Americans should always cherish our deep friendship with the "Brits". They are among the few people in the world who do not hate us. I lived in England on and off for over 20 years. I love them! Now, their food.......well, that's another story altogether.
You are indeed, a good friend to your British "cousin".
