Glad to hear everything is going OK, Adj. Times like these make you appreciate what/who you have and cherish in this world. Take care and give our best to the Mrs. DD

In true RF style, here is the hospital menu for this week where my wife is at: http://www.mh-m.org/pages/twm.htm Her diet (per meal) since last Friday PM: Horrible Beef or Chicken broth concoction a 'la Lukewarm; Glow in the dark green jello; Strange orange colored stuff resembling not quite set jello (no real flavor at all...); Lime Sherbert a 'la Melted; Iced tea from hell...; Diet Shasta Ginger Ale; and apple juice. YUMMO!

I didn't know that long word meant having your gall bladder out. I did that in December, and I feel great. Surgery was on Thursday and I was at work by Monday. Everyone should have it out whether they need to or not. It made such a difference to me. It really is fun to eat and not throw up.

To wind things up here, my spouse was discharged from the hospital late this past Friday P.M. She could not have the laproscopic surgery due to scar tissue from previous surgeries in the past. Regardless, she is doing well and we are experimenting with new menu options for her that will help in her recovery and beyond. Once again, both Rinda and I sincerely appreciate all of the support that has originated from our RoadFood family. May God Bless You All. --Joe Kirkpatrick-- Bainbridge, GA (aka SOUTH Southern Gawja)

ADJ: too bad she could have the laproscopic surgery. That would have made things simple. The other route is not as pleasant. I hope all goes well. Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN
