We just signed an agreement with a new ad agency for the advertisements at the bottom of the screen. Let me know if your computer blows up or something.

Yep, I noticed it earlier when my script handler asked me if I wanted to let them do their thing. Seeing as how this is Roadfood, I passed them onto the whitelist. No problems or otherwise disagreeable results so far, so I don't expect any.

I have a problem with one add. It seems when I click on a topic there is nothing there but this add. It's for win some Hiwian vacation thru a radio station or something. This is a top of the page advert. It happens daily with me, but only when I first start to surf around here. No problem with the new adds a bottom of page yet. Chow Jim

Just a question from an old marketing major...Since I had not even notice an ad at the bottom of the page, it cost considerably less to advertise there, right? Prime location at the top. Who scrolls all the way to the bottom?

I'm still getting the Verizon pop-up over the text of the forum from time to time. Not complaining it it pays the bills...just reporting.

Prime location at the top. Who scrolls all the way to the bottom? Correct. We get paid on an impression basis for those ads, whereby the ads on the top of screen is a combination of clicks and impressions. The web-speak for ads at the top of the screen is called "above the fold" - thus, above the point where the user needs to scroll to see the ad.
