New Appetizer?

I’ve been hearing people around town talking about a new appetizer, at least new to me. People are taking apple smoked bacon, sprinkling brown sugar on it and then baking it on a broiling pan. Hmmm, pork fat and brown sugar num nums.

I do something similiar to this. Take a pound of bacon and cut in half. Twist the bacon, dip bacon and cover in a combo of brown sugar and cinnamon. Place on baking sheet, and bake (I think about 350 deg.) until brown and crispy. You will get hooked on these as they are really crunchy, sweet, and different tasting.
