New Applebee's logo?

During a college football game Saturday I saw a logo for Applebee's. Instead of being a red apple and green letters, it was simpler, like with white letters in a different font. I even found this when I logged on to the Applebee's website.

Is this new logo like I saw during college football and on the website what Applebee's will be using from now on? I wonder if that has anything to do with them being bought out by IHOP last July.

I didn't realize that Applebee's had been bought out by IHOP. I guess that their patrons can now look forward to dirty restrooms, in addition to the bad food that is traditionally served at these places.

Thanks for giving me two reasons to avoid Applebee's!

They just built a new Applebee's near where I live in St. Louis to replace one that burned down - it has an entirely new design, and the new logo as well.

I don't know about the new logo, but I can tell you the new commercials with the talking apple sure are irritating.

I'm glad Wanda Sykes has a job, but she deserves a lot better than Appleby's.

At least she doesn't have to put her face to the product, only her voice.

It is interesting that IHOP is smaller and yet bought out the bigger company.

Like Tedbear said, this gives me two reasons to avoid the franchise.

The new logo will make a nicer looking tatoo on Tyler's butt.

The one on Mid Rivers Mall Drive, near Route 94.
