New Babies and World Cultures

Hi All -

Here's another fun interactive page from PBS' The Meaning of Food site: A quiz on world cultures and how they welcome new babies:

http://www.pbs.org/opb/meaningoffood/food_and_family/bring_in_the_new

I got 3 out of 10 right.

I got 7 and they said "You scored 7 points out of 10.

Nice work — perhaps a little “hooray for me” ceremony is in order.

3 out of 10 - and it would have been only 2 if I hadn't been invited to a "Red Egg Party" for a friend's son. I'm feeling very ignorant about now....

You should have gotten a hell of a lot(two words)more than that! I guessed at every single one, got 4, and it was a "hooray for me" as well. My status is way overrated...

2 out of 10. "Time to hit the baby books" was the comment I received at the end. I guess I'm the dunce in this class.

    Fun quiz in any case.
