New Forum

Every year we continue to see more and more Roadfood get-togethers around the country.  It is out intention that this forum will encourage even greater participation.  Feel free to post about an upcoming event, discuss car-pooling logistics and share photos of the aftermath.  Anything about a group get-together should be discussed here.

Stephen, this is a convenient destination folder for everyone.  Thank you so much for adding it, because now we can spend less time searching for the meeting info and more time eating with our RF friends!

    Great idea!

Question: What will happen to a thread once the "tour date" has passed? I for one would like to see them stay in this forum indefinately. For one thing it will give attendees a chance to post pictures and day-after reports, and later on we'd always know where to look for the old reports if we want to reminisce.

For example, I have completely lost track of the 2007 NJ Hot Dog Tour thread, I wanted to show a friend some of the pictures just the other day and couldn't find it

This is a fabulous idea.  I'm a Los Angeles resident who's apparently missed the SoCal get-togethers in the past, and I'd really like to know about the next one (and the one after that, .....).

It might be sooner than you think.

Elise T and I are in the early discussion stages regarding a meet n greet at Philippe
on Sunday April 19  sometime in the afternoon. I'll be  in  Los Angeles and San Diego the week of April 17 through the 24th.

I'd be delighted to join you when you're in town.  Phillipe's is one of my favorites and I welcome any excuse to go there.  I'll hold that afternoon for y'all.

    Hi Ellen!

A month of driving and eating would be a blast!

But I wouldn't fit in the car.

One of these days I'll "meat up" with you in AC.

    Marlene and Catosaurus

I hope the both of you can make it. I would look forward to meeting you. I'll officially post a new thread sometime later in the week. I'm hoping more Southern Californians can participate including some old friends (Red Patti and Ed Sails) who haven't posted in a while that I met on my last visit to LA back in 2006.
