Anyone try the new Ogre-sized M & M's yet? Thoughts on the flavor? Do you think they taste different?

haven't even heard of them -- let alone try them ... are they like super sized M&Ms? can't imagine them tasting any different just cause they might be bigger.. oh well-- who knows-- and who comes up with these ideas anyway????

Have seen them advertised. They are part of the "Shrek II" promotions, therefore, I would guess. their time is limited. Haven't found them in the stores yet.

I've had them and yes I thought they didn't taste quite right. I don't know if the funny taste stemmed from the candy to chocolate ratio or the horrid algae green color.

Perhaps since the chocolate is not really the best, more of it lets you realize that?

Finally got to try some today & I think the difference is from the chocolate ratio. When you pop several in your mouth, there's enough chocolate to give that smooth creamy feel you can get from a large piece of chocolate. You don't usually get that with M&M's.
