New Mexican Chain CoBranding with Hardees

Hardee's has just opened the first of their Hardee's/Red Burrito combonation resturants in the St. Louis, following the success that they have had with combining Carl's Jr's with their Green Burrito chain. I'm hoping my local Hardee's adds mexican fare, it might give me a reason to eat there, as there aren't any fast food mexican joints within 30 miles of where I live.

Why don't we start a separate forum for Fast Food so that those of us who enjoy an occasional fast food meal or eat at one for other reasons don't have to endure the snide comments , ridicule and nastiness of the Road Food Snobs? Like it or nor Fast Food is here to stay . While I prefer to eat at legitimate Mom & Pop places ,Some of us don't have the wherewithal to make trips just for the pleasure of eating road food & have to make do with what we can find locally , fast food included! Fast Food has it's place in America!

MamaPoo there is brand new one if you take a look in the forums section. This is a rather funny thread as generally Hardees restaurants in Minnesota go out of business and are converted to Chinese or Mexican restaurants, I guess there getting ahead of the ball game.

I got real excited when I first saw New Mexican, I immediately think of the State of New Mexico where I love the food. I thought briefly....oh boy! Blake's Lottaburger for Green Chile Cheeseburger! Disappointment

I must like FF, I eat a hell of a lot of it for lunch, never at dinner though. I cook that home and my wife does the dishes. John

The Carl's Jr. nearest me in SF has been advertising "green burritos" for years but I never realized it was other than just another menu item. With one of the city's best independent taquerias (Taqueria Can-Cun) practically across the street, there's no way I'd get a burrito at Carl's Jr. anyway.
