New Mexico 2010 Eating Tour HOTEL

As of today, the Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown hasn't programed our September Roadfood group in its system. However, online, Sheraton has two attractive rates available, $104 prepaid nonrefundable and $112 with some cancellation restrictions. Being older, I went with the telephone reservation system's "Birth Year" rate, a $159 regular rate the first night, plus two nights at the last two digits of your birth year, for example, if born in 1947, those nights would be $47 each plus tax. Besides price for some of us, a huge advantage of this last rate is the ability to cancel up to 6:00 p.m. on the day of arrival without penalty. That gives the ability to switch to the conference rate when it becomes available or to cancel for any reason.

The Roadfood rate should be posted soon - It is going to be $94/night with free internet on request. Internet is not included on the other rates, and they charge $15/night.

Thanks so much Stephen. Was able to switch to the group rate, which also allowed me to book a fourth night, which had not been possible at a reduced rate on the original reservation.
