How does one perform a search for exact phrase in the new search menu?

I click on the search forum and enter the text, then I hit search or enter.

But, will that do a "Match all words", "Match any words" or "Match exact phrase"?
Does it use the Google search syntax?

The search engine uses a variety of techniques to retrieve the results.
If you are looking for a more exact match, then set the sort order to "relevance."
Select the "Less precise match" if you didn't find what you were looking for the first time.
