New member with trailer question Mon, 05/27/13 7:33 PM (permalink)
I am getting a food trailer in a couple of weeks and have a couple of questions. This trailer is 18 feet and has a 6 burner stove w/ oven, 24" chargrill, 40 lb. fryer, two freezers and a refrigerator, 8' hood and AC. How big of a generator do I need and will the 40 lb. gas tanks sold at Lowes work for me. I appreciate and information you can give me. Thank you.

you should have 100 lb tanks if all of that is gas.look on the labels of the two freezers and a refrigerator, 8' hood and AC and add up the watts and that will tell you the min watts you need for a genny.
