No more Pastrami Queen

During a recent visit to Manhattan, I discovered that the Pastrami Queen is no more. There was another address listed further south on Lexington, but this was not accurate. I called the phone number and was referred to a Brooklyn area code. There was no answer at that number

In the last week, they have torn down an entire city block of buildings (including the PQ location) in order to build (what else?) a luxury high rise. It is quite an amazing thing to see, especially if you're familiar with what it used to look like. By the way, I think Pastrami Queen has relocated to Merrick, LI.
