Noob health permit question.

I’m not going to operate a cart. I want to attend festivals and fairs and such in different counties within my state of California. So based on that how does the health permit system work. Meaning does the festival issue the health permit or do I have to get one on my own from each county that the festival is operating? Thanks

Hi,
Welcome... each county has their own specific health department. The regulations vary upon counties. I would advise you to check with each county you wish to do business with. Festivals are different as well. If you are only doing them, you will pay a higher price for a temp food permit, plus any fees or permits required by the county themselvs or the the festival promoter.
