for those of you who don't know who Norman Chad is, he's a syndicated newspaper sports columnist and ESPN yacker who is funny. Today in the Washington Post he did a job on a bunch of advertirsers on TV.

Once you consider the costs involved- raising the chicken, processing the chicken, shipping the chicken, packaging materials, cooking the chicken, purchasing other ingredientes[bread, lettice,dressing,seasoning,et al], restaurant equipment, commercial rent, insurance, labor, and of course advertizing- if your paying only 89 cents, exactly what type of quality meal are you expecting here?"

i think people who eat at Taco Bell, me included, know exactly what to expect, and are quite happy with the cost/value.
