Nostalgic Candy Store!

There's a great candy store, Life Is Sweet. If you're local to North Carolina,
it's in Wake Forest (in downtown on White Street).
They're on the web (http://www.lifeissweet.net). The website doesn't have many pictures yet, but it's fully functional for ordering.
They have a lot of nostalgic candy and their Paris chocolate is awesome!

Also check out any of the Cracker Barrel stores. They carry many of the same candies as Vermont Country Store with having to order through a catalog.

And if anyone's in the Tampa/St. Pete area (Florida) check out Candy Kitchen, on Madeira Beach. Fabulous ice-cream and lots of nostalgic candy.

The General Store in Moultonboro NH is one of the best that I've seen. I'ts an old stage stop from the early 1800s with a great free museam on the second floor. Many old penny scales and motion picture machines scattered thru out the store, also wooden barrels of pickels and mollases. The penny candy counter is original and a huge selection. It was a daily trip for my kids when we vacationed in that area. Chow Jim
