Not Your Average Joes

See www.notyouraveragejoes.com I was surprised when a search didn't bring up a thread. We have been twice in the last month. It is very good and very reasonable, for what it is. They have a dozen or so in Mass, and one in Virginia (go figure). Compared to TGIF and Applelees, there is, IMO, no competition. I would actually choose Joe's , while I would only go to the others to please other people. In fairness to Applebees, I have not been there since the re-branding.....maybe it suddenly got good.

Hmmm... interesting. I've driven by the rt9 location in Westborough a million times and it always perked my interest, but the funky location/facade always deterred me.

I was there again this past weekend. The Dartmouth, Mass location turns out to be the original. The reason for the Va location, it turns out, is to check the concept in a new area before an IPO. Who thinks that the IPO will make it better?

I know they replaced the Starbucks Grill in Hyannis. This Starbucks was not a coffee chain. Their slogan was "The place is always cookin! Starr-Bucks!"
