This is taking roadfood to a whole new level - 40,000 feet.
Huffington Post reports the test crew of Boeing's new 747-8 decided to take the new plane for a roadfood excursion from Seattle to Pittsburgh to get sandwichs from roadfood restaurant Primanti Brothers (the place that puts fries and slaw IN the sandwich). Boeing's flight director says they plan future roadfood junkets - ah, I mean test flights - to Michigan's UP for pasties and to Maine for lobster rolls.
Of course, once the new plane is in actual service, folks like us will be stuck with airline food (if any).
So, if you had a company plane to play with, where in the roadfood universe would you go?
